Language twists. Missed connections. Time loops. Chimps with typewriters.
In All in the Timing, American playwright David Ives invites us into a world where
nothing is quite as it seems—and everything hinges on timing.
These sharp, witty one-act plays explore the absurd beauty and existential panic of
being human. As expats navigating life in Sweden while watching the fractured
state of things back home, our students bring a unique lens to Ives’s words.
This production doesn’t just entertain—it reflects on identity, belonging, and
the strange dance of communication in a world increasingly fragmented by time
zones, ideologies, and language itself.
Performed in English, in the heart of Stockholm, this special performance is not only a
showcase of theatrical talent—it’s a controprestazione: an offering, a gesture
of cultural reciprocity in uncertain times.
Join us for an evening of laughter, absurdity, and unexpected depth.
